Republican Moderates? Forget About It!

GOP and White House Near Deal on Spying
Support was building among Republicans and the White House on Tuesday for a proposal from several moderate senators that would give President Bush's controversial surveillance program the force of law, more than four years after he secretly initiated the program.

Apparently Olympia Snow, Mike DeWine, and Chuck Hagel are cosponsoring the Terrorist Surveillance Act of 2006. Isn't this fantastic? More spineless Republicans who are too afraid to confront the Bush administration on important issues. There are no Republican Moderates. Specter showed his true colors during the Roberts and Alito hearings, and now the rest of the so called moderates show how pitiful they are as well.
